Your Perfect Pairs
We have tailored your tastings to hit your taste buds at perfect times, so follow the order below. The tasting flight will be set up from left to right, so #1 below is the pairing furthest to the left.
A REFRESHING START
To The Left
The Swindler
The first beer you will be indulging in is The Swindler which is a tropical Pale.
This is known as an easy drinking beer for its invigorating flavours and a locals favourite! The refreshing taste of the light body beer is due to its tropical notes of passion fruit and Melon that it gets exposed to during the brewing process.

Why they are the perfect pair
In a wine, you can find 150 different aromas; in tequila, there are more than 600! This allows you to combine it with a larger variety of foods.
We certainly can’t let wine and beer hog the limelight when it comes to food pairing... if paired right, food can bring out the versatile flavours in tequila.
The high alcohol content of the tequila cuts nicely through the cream and richness of the béchamel. The dried onion and vinegar in the ranch bring out the acidity of the tequila making it a nice salty and hearty start to your palate.
THE GOLDEN ONE
in The Middle
The Chancer
Next is the delicious Chancer Golden Ale, a fruit-driven beer that is light in texture but very full in flavour!
Notice the distinctive orange golden colour and its unique tropical smell. This beer has a great combination of flavours and a good intro to a bitter beer. It has that fruity refreshing flavour without being too sweet.

Why they are the perfect pair
The spiciness of the chorizo coupled with the tart acidity of the pico de gallo is a seamless complement to this tequila.
The taste of tomatoes, herbs and lemon juice from the pico de gallo bring out the acidity of the tequila nicely creating a delicious and unexpected contrast.
THE JAILBIRD
In the Middle
Hop Thief
Our third beer is the “Hop Thief American Pale Ale” which is a new beer in the Hop Thief Series showcasing some very different flavours!
It has some very classic characteristics but this is your first rich & full body type beer in your tasting. Notice the thickness of the colour and see if you can taste the creaminess in one sip. Each variation of this beer will be slightly different as it does change according to the hop harvest. So have you decided if you’re a light or dark beer drinker yet?

Why they are the perfect pair
Thanks to its high sugar content, Mezcal pairs nicely with desserts. The strawberries bring out the agave and vanilla flavours of the Mezcal while the smokey, dried fruit taste of the spirit work well with the sugary yet savoury churro!
THE AUSSIE TWIST
To the Right
Nine Tales
Your final tasting is the “Nine Tales” Amber Ale! This lively beer is crafted with pale & crystal malts and distinctive hops for a unique flavour. It was a slightly nutty finish and a deep copper colour. To match the nutty finish, see if you can notice the toffee, creating a caramel sweetness that is infused in the brew.
