Larimer Boy and Girl
The next stop of the day for you will be the
Larimer Boy and Girl mural.
About Larimer Boy and Girl
Artist Jeremy Burns had been an artist for years when he got in a bad accident and injured his arm. To cope with his loss of fine motor skills, Jeremy started painting murals. He made this particular mural by taking faces he had previously painted and projecting an enlarged version onto the wall while he painted.
The coolest part of this mural is that it shows totally different pictures depending on which way you look at it. Look one way and you’ll see a sad looking girl, and the other way and you’ll see a smiling boy.
Top Tips
Make sure you take a picture both ways (for the girl and the boy) from a side angle.
You should stand on the edge of the sidewalk so you can get the full mural in the picture.
Feel free to play around with the angles here as you get a very different view just walking a step or
two in either direction.
While You’re in the Area…
Step inside American Bonded for a drink and another great insta opportunity on the
wall inside to your right...
