The Texas State Capitol sits in the heart of Downtown Austin. It houses The Governor of Texas and The Texas legislature. The building was designed by Elijah E. Meyers back in 1881.

The building is known for its gorgeous grounds and stunning architecture. It is open to the public, they offer free tours and history lessons or you can walk around and explore at your own pace!
