About Madame Brussels
You might feel as though you’ve just stepped out of Alice's rabbit hole into a fantasy world of characters and illusions.
The bar's catchy name pays tribute to the Madame herself – a 19th century city brothel owner and entrepreneur famed for her sensational attitude and unconventional lifestyle.
There’s lots to see and do here so we’ve come up with a few of our favourite Madame Brussels photo spots to capture the true eclectic magic of this bar.
Top Tips
The entrance to the 'garden party' is complete with pink walls, some heart-shaped garden chairs, white picket fences and so much faux green grass! We recommend borrowing one of their colourful umbrellas (usually located on the terrace) and take some pictures on the garden terrace as well as in the blue wicker seating area.
Make sure to head up to the second level and get a picture of you with the beautiful Melbourne skyline behind you.
Fancy a break to the “powder” room?! Head in there and take pictures of the amazing pink sinks and theatrical Snow White Mirrors!

Loop Roof & Loop Top, Bar 1806, Bar Lourinha, Hihou and Bodega Underground are all a two minute walk away.
