Leaf Soda

Your first drink is a leaf soda. Strawberry gum (Eucalyptus Olida) is an Australian native gum tree whose leaves have a combined flavour of eucalyptus and strawberry. The bar has been trying to make the perfect leaf soda and now here it is right in front of you! Enjoy the bubbles of this refreshing drink and let it cleanse your palate.

Arancini

This beautifully refreshing drink is accompanied by Truffle and Mushroom Arancini.

Why they are the perfect pair

The earthy and oaky flavours of the truffle mushroom arancini are complemented by the sweet and fruity strawberry gum leaf soda, which carries undertones of strawberry and cinnamon, giving you a refreshing reconnection with nature.

The crisp and saltiness of the arancini adds a nice difference in texture, and highlights the fruity notes in the soda. What do you taste?

In the middle

Aperol Spritz (with a twist)

The next in your tasting experience is bright, pink and fizzy.

You’ll be treated to a peach and rhubarb Aperol Spritz cocktail, which we think also makes the perfect pre-dinner tipple. The sweetness of the peach enhances the dryness of the Spritz, as well as any earthy notes in it.

Chicken Wings

The spritz has been paired with a spiced chicken wing with mango sriracha.

The perfectly cooked chicken wing pairs wonderfully with the refreshing and delicious peach and rhubarb spritz. The flavours of the fruit, when coupled with the spice of the chicken, take your tastebuds on an incredible adventure.

Vermouth

Our final tasting is a sherry-based vermouth.

This drink has always been popular in the cocktail scene but more lately vermouth is experiencing an increase in popularity  – new brands are emerging in many countries, together with dedicated vermuterías.

Devil’s Food Cake

This has been paired with Devil’s food cake, vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce & almonds.

Why they are the perfect pair

The Lustau Rojo Vermut is described as flavoursome, velvety and balanced with a bitter finish and a delicate and distinctive nutty aftertaste. These characteristics pair exceptionally well with the rich chocolate flavour of the deliciously gooey Devil’s food cake. Don't be deterred by the name though, one bite of this and you'll think you're in heaven.
