Let the fun begin!
Find your 4 weekly challenges below, including the weekly Flash Challenge!
We want to make sure you capture the fun in the best possible way, so we’ve created a few simple photography tips you can find at the bottom of this page.
Challenge One
When was the last time you spent quality time snuggled up together underneath the stars?
Well, World Space Week begins on Monday so let’s celebrate with a starry night to remember. Download the Skyview app (iPhone or Android) on your phone and on a clear night, throw on your comfy gear, grab your blankets and pillows and head onto your balcony, into the backyard or out to the beach. We also recommend bringing your favourite hot drink or a bottle of red wine ;)
Once you’ve created your cosy snug, look up at the stars together and use the Skyview app to view the incredible constellations and nearby planets.
If you're looking for a mood setting soundtrack, give our playlist a whirl.

Challenge Two
TEXT ALERT!
Your first solo challenges will arrive via text message at surprise times during the week - these are individual challenges so keep them secret - keep them safe!
Challenge Three
For your first head to head competition we’re challenging you to an at-home decathlon!
The fun starts with creating your 10 activities! Choose five each and make an event of it - take photos, award prizes along the way, even ask your friends or family members to bet on the winner.
If you’re stuck on activity ideas, we’ve put together some of our favourites - which you can download here - you can print this out to use as a scoreboard too!
Those who are know of other Couple Questers in their friendship group, how about creating a decathlon competition for each other and sharing your photos and successes together?!
Remember to capture the magic moments on camera!
Flash Challenge!
Play to win a dinner on us
Though this Weekly Prize has now passed, you still need to complete it to be in the running for the Grand Prize!
Head out on an adventure to find the ultimate springtime backdrop for a couples selfie.
Here's the catch! The photo must feature a yellow flower (or two!) and one of you can't be touching the ground...
Week one done!

Photography Tips
Want some advice on how to take the best photo?
Give these ideas a try.
Unless you are capturing a backdrop or large piece - try getting in close. Fill the frame with your subject to avoid too much wasted space!
Be aware of backgrounds - don’t let things like garbage bins or a passerby ruin your shot if you don’t want to intentionally include them in it! Change your angle or wait until people have passed by. It will be worth it!
See The Light! Take note of where the light is coming from - does it cast interesting shadows on your subject that you may want to capture or does it just hide the detail you need? Move around to find the best lit angle.
Using the flash isn’t just for night time - sometimes a bright day may create harsh shadows that you don’t like, so using the flash may allow a more even exposure.
Laugh, don’t smile...a well-timed joke will often lead to a more natural looking shot of your subject rather than a forced ‘cheese’
Try framing - is there something you could use to frame your focal point - e.g by shooting through a window or archway?
Keep it simple - try not to pack too much into your shot. Try focusing on one or two points of interest per shot.
