Back for another weekend of fun!
Your next 4 weekly challenges are below, including this week’s Flash Challenge - a chance to win an AmazingCo Family Mystery Picnic!
Don’t forget those photography tips down below to help you capture the magic in the most wonderful of ways.
Challenge One
It’s time to put your gumboots on! Find the muddiest puddle and get jumping! For a completed challenge you must have at least two of you on camera jumping, splashing or rolling in the puddles and getting muddy :)
Challenge Two
It’s slim pickings for birds during the winter, so let's provide them with a little breakfast. As a family, make some bird feeders to hang in your backyard or balcony - download this PDF to help you. Place them where you can easily see them from your window and watch the birds squabble over the best seeds!
Challenge Three
Gooey, squashy, chocolaty S’Mores. Melt them by the fire or roast them in the oven, either way it’s a delicious treat for the whole family. Create the most amazing S’Mores using our recipe you can download here.

Who says you can’t swim outside in the winter?! There’s something really special about being enveloped in warm water while it’s cold outside so let's experience an outdoor hot tub in the cool winter air!
Don’t have a hot tub? Who does?! Make your own by filling a kiddie pool with warm water. If there’s not enough room for grown ups, you can use foot tubs instead!
The best photo wins, and remember to share this one to Instagram using #MyFamilyFunChallenge and tagging us at @AmazingCo.me (or @AmazingCo on Facebook). Entries close Monday night!
Week two done!
Don’t forget to share the magical moments you’ve captured from this week’s challenges, especially the home hot tub challenge for your chance to win!

Photography Tips
Want some advice on how to take the best photo?
Give these ideas a try.
Unless you are capturing a backdrop or large piece - try getting in close. Fill the frame with your subject to avoid too much wasted space!
Be aware of backgrounds - don’t let things like garbage bins or a passerby ruin your shot if you don’t want to intentionally include them in it! Change your angle or wait until people have passed by. It will be worth it!
See The Light! Take note of where the light is coming from - does it cast interesting shadows on your subject that you may want to capture or does it just hide the detail you need? Move around to find the best lit angle.
Using the flash isn’t just for night time - sometimes a bright day may create harsh shadows that you don’t like, so using the flash may allow a more even exposure.
Laugh, don’t smile...a well-timed joke will often lead to a more natural looking shot of your subject rather than a forced ‘cheese’
Try framing - is there something you could use to frame your focal point - e.g by shooting through a window or archway?
Keep it simple - try not to pack too much into your shot. Try focusing on one or two points of interest per shot.
