In its purest form, Flamenco is an art form based on the various folkloric musical traditions of southern Spain. Emotions are at the heart of flamenco. Each flamenco style contains feelings, which are reflected in the way artists interpret it and communicate with the public. Through lyrics, music, dance, and expression, interpreters aim to awaken emotions through performance.
While we don’t expect you to get up and perform a flamenco (although, now’s as good as time as any), we do encourage you to indulge in the art by listening to some traditional Spanish guitar. Allow yourselves to get swept up in the mood and transport to the romantic streets of Seville.
