Ready To
Start Tasting?

For your next tasting you will be trying out three different tacos, each paired with three different, delicious craft beers. Each have been paired up so that the flavors complement each other and highlight the best elements of each dish. Enjoy!

Seafood, Eat Food

Our first tasting at District 7 Grill is the Intellectuale Witty Blonde brought to you by 8th Wonder Brewery. This beer is something between a blonde ale, Belgian Golden Ale and a traditional wit beer. This beer is going to be light and crisp.

We have paired this first beer with a shrimp taco which will be served with red cabbage, tomato, onions, cilantro and a chipotle ranch.

Why they are the perfect pair

Any time you are pairing a drink with seafood, it is best to pair with a light, crisp drink; something that won’t overpower, but rather complement and bring out the natural flavors of the seafood.

More Please

For your second tasting you will be enjoying another craft beer, the Cougar Paw, brought to you by 8th Wonder Brewery. Cougar Paw is a red ale beer that is malt forward sweetness that finishes with a roasted, dry taste.

This beer gets its name from the Houston Cougars. A portion of the proceeds for this beer goes toward scholarships at the UH Hilton College.

This red ale has been paired with the Pork Pastor Taco.

Why they are the perfect pair

These have been paired because the caramelized malt property tastes wonderful alongside the sweetness of the cooked tomato.

Guten Tag To You

Your final tasting is Guten Tag brought to you by Saint Arnold Brewing. This beer is a traditional bavarian-style lager. The malt is going to provide a toasty flavor while the hops are restrained to provide a crisp finish.

We are matching this beer with a chicken fajita taco.

Why they are the perfect pair

These are paired because the the malt of the beer is going to pair well with the tortilla, while the restrained hops will be able to cut through the spices of the meat.

This concludes your tasting here. Thanks for stopping by!

Are you ready to move on?

Your next stop is on St. Emanuel St. So once you walk outside, take a left on Bell St. and go to the intersection of Bell St. and St Emanuel.

Once there, take a right on St. Emanuel and travel for almost three blocks. Your last stop of the night is on your right, just before Dallas St.

In the area...

You need to get a selfie in front of the We Love Houston sign which is located just behind 8th Wonder Brewery!
