COFFEE BODY SCRUB

Say hello to smooth and glowing skin!


This coffee scrub not only exfoliates dead skin cells but the caffeine in the coffee can help improve circulation, reduce puffiness, and leave your skin glowing!

Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ground coffee (preferably organic)

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (or raw sugar)

    • Brown Sugar = softer, gentler, adds moisture.

    • Raw Sugar = coarser, more exfoliating, great for rough patches.

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (or olive oil)

  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for extra moisture)

  • A few drops of essential oil (optional, for fragrance — try lavender, peppermint, or eucalyptus)

Method

  1. Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the ground coffee and brown sugar. Stir until well mixed.

  2. Add the Wet Ingredients: Slowly pour in the coconut oil and honey (if using), stirring to combine. The mixture should have a thick, paste-like consistency. If it's too dry, add more oil until it reaches your desired texture.

  3. Add Essential Oils: If you'd like, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil for fragrance and extra skin benefits.

  4. Apply to Skin: In the shower or bath, apply the scrub to damp skin in gentle, circular motions. Focus on areas that need exfoliation, such as elbows, knees, and feet.

  5. Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Pat your skin dry with a towel and enjoy the smooth, moisturised feel.

Tips

  • Store the scrub in an airtight container for up to 2-3 weeks.

  • Avoid using on your face if you have sensitive skin.

  • Use 2-3 times a week for best results.
