3 INGREDIENT FACE MASK

Freshen up your face!


This all-vegan face mask will leave your face feeling fresh and smelling good enough to eat! There are multiple benefits of the three ingredients being used and are likely readily available in your kitchen.

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 Ripe Banana (not only are these bendy friends full of moisture, they also have the ability to tighten pores and refine your skin beautifully.)

  • 2 Tbsp Oats (when combined with the astringency of lemon and moisturising bananas, they very successfully clarify and tone the skin.)

  • 1 Tsp Fresh Lemon Juice (lemons are a natural powerhouse for the skin! This citrus hero is packed with plant exfoliators that go to work without damaging the skin, tightening, clarifying and brightening.

Method:

  1. Begin by mashing up the banana in a bowl.

  2. Add the oats and lemon juice and stir well.

  3. Cleanse your face before applying a generous amount of the mixture.

  4. Kick back and relax for 10-15 minutes before washing off. (Don’t be tempted to eat it… although, you can!).

Tips:

  • For an extra soothing effect, store the banana in the fridge for a few hours before making the mask.

  • You can easily double the recipe if you’d like to make a batch for your friends or to store for later (just refrigerate it!).
